More performance, comfort, and 20mm more ground clearance for your motorcycle with the Touratech Suspension Extreme shock absorber. The Touratech Suspension Extreme shock absorber represents the absolute premium class in suspension technology. This Extreme shock absorber is perfectly designed for touring and riding with frequently and dramatically changing load and riding conditions, or for the most extreme conditions. The Extreme shock absorber features PDS, a hydraulic bottoming-out protection system that uses a second damper piston. Even in the most extreme off-road conditions with a full load of luggage, bottoming-out never occurs, preventing mechanical overload of the shock absorber. The damping is travel-dependent. During most riding conditions, the shock absorber is adjusted for comfort and effortlessness before the PDS intervenes in the final part of the shock absorber stroke.

This means for you: Any luggage volume, from a tail bag to a loaded luggage system and/or pillion passenger, is accommodated within the Extreme adjustment range. The very finely adjustable damping on the expansion tank allows for effective, precise, and personalized suspension adjustments for any road condition and intended use, whether on motorways/highways, federal highways, short country roads, off-road sections, long-distance trips with heavy luggage, or a fast, ambitious riding style.

The basic setup installed here is designed for riders up to 100 kg including luggage. Adjustments for much higher payloads or other unusual requirements are possible. We will then customize the shock absorber to your individual needs with a spring with a higher spring rate and other configurations. Important note:
With this suspension solution, the rear and front sections of the motorcycle must be adjusted together. For secure stability, the side stand and/or center stand must also be adjusted.
