Touratech Suspension Cartridge Kit lowering -25mm for KTM 790/890 Adventure (2019-2025)

This Cartridge Kit Extreme is perfect for reducing the seat height (-25mm) on the KTM 790/890 Adventure. Put simply, the Cartridge KIT is a shock absorber for the fork and the absolute premium class in terms of suspension technology. The Closed Cartridge is installed in the original fork. This means that the triple clamp/handlebar mount, brakes, wheel guide and steering geometry are fully retained. No additional modifications to the fork are required. This cartridge has been perfectly developed for touring and riding with frequently and strongly changing load and riding conditions or the most extreme requirements.

What this means for you:

Any luggage volume, from the rear bag to the loaded luggage system and/or pillion, is absorbed by the Extreme adjustment range. The spring preload, rebound and compression damping are fully adjustable from above. The damper oil is in a sealed cartridge so that the amount of oil can be precisely dosed. As a result, the Close Cartridge offers a significantly finer and more pleasant fork response. The very finely adjustable damping enables effective, precise suspension adjustment to suit your personal riding style at any time, whatever the road conditions and intended use, be it motorways/expressways, main roads, the smallest country roads, off-road sections, long-distance travel with large luggage or a fast, ambitious riding style. If exceptionally rough road conditions affect the front wheel, the integrated “Hydraulic Endstop” prevents the fork from bottoming out mechanically.

For a secure stand after lowering, we recommend shortening the side stand.

Adjustments for unusual requirements are possible. We will then adapt the shock absorber to your individual requirements by fitting a spring with a suitable spring rate and other configurations.
