From Explore to Extreme...
The Touratech Suspension Travel suspensions are available in different versions - Level 1, Level 2, High End and Extreme - and all our suspensions have the following features- Special Touratech setup of balance and damping
- Adjustable rebound damping at the shock absorber foot with special travel set-up
- Large 16 mm chrome molybdenum steel piston rod for maximum stability and durability
- Separating piston design: Damping fluids, oil and nitrogen are separated, resulting in finer response of the shock absorber
- Low-friction special seals with integrated Teflon support ring for low wear and long service life of the shock absorbers
- Sturdy stainless steel bushes in the strut eye. This ensures a stable, backlash-free fit of the fixing screw even under the highest loads
- Fully serviceable, therefore permanently highest driving dynamics
- Available with additional spring rates to compensate for
- higher or lower driver weight and payload
From the third stage onwards, the so-called High End version, all Touratech Suspension shock absorbers have the following additional features:
- Separately adjustable high and low speed damping, for precise damping adjustment at very high damping frequency and high loads (bad roads / tracks with luggage)
- Compensation reservoir on the shock absorber,
- thus better cooling performance of the shock absorber oil and higher damping performance under heavy duty
- PDS - path-dependent damper piston: hydraulic breakthrough protection through the use of a second damper piston, i.e. no breakthrough of the shock absorber
